NEBB Testing, Adjusting Balancing (TAB CT) HVAC technicians entering TAB work should already grasp ductwork design fundamentals and basic refrigeration cycles before tackling this certification. The CT exam assumes you can read blueprints, understand airflow principles, and operate a manometer—skills developed through hands-on field experience or equivalent training. Without this foundation, pressure-drop calculations and balancing procedures become significantly harder to absorb.
